Keep your account secure with a strong password and two-factor authentication.

Changing your password

Go to Settings > Security to update your password. You’ll need to confirm your current password first.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account. When enabled, you’ll need to enter a code from your authenticator app in addition to your password when logging in. To enable 2FA:
  1. Go to Settings > Security.
  2. Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
  3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.).
  4. Enter the confirmation code to verify setup.
  5. Save your recovery codes somewhere safe — you’ll need them if you lose access to your authenticator app.

Recovery codes

When you enable 2FA, you’ll receive a set of recovery codes. Each code can only be used once. Store them in a secure location (password manager, printed copy in a safe place). If you lose your authenticator device, these codes are the only way to regain access to your account.

Social login

If you signed up with Google, Apple, or Facebook, you can use those providers to log in without a password. You can still set a password in your security settings if you want the option to log in with email and password as well.
