# Getting Help

> How to reach us, and what support is included on your plan.

Every plan includes the documentation and the **Support** page at
**Settings > Support**. What you can do from that page depends on your plan.

## Start with the documentation

Most questions are answered here, and it is the fastest route to an answer on any
plan. The Support page links straight to it.

## Support by plan

| Plan        | What's included                                    |
| ----------- | -------------------------------------------------- |
| **Free**    | Community support                                  |
| **Starter** | Email support through the in-app messenger |
| **Pro** | Priority support — your requests are triaged first |

### Free

Your plan includes community support. Our community portal is on the way; until
it opens, the documentation is the place to start.

If you need to reach us directly, direct support is included on Starter and Pro.
Owners and admins can compare plans from **Settings > Billing**.

### Starter and Pro

Open **Settings > Support** and choose **New message**. Pick a type — bug,
question, feature request, or other — give it a subject, and describe what
happened. We reply by email, and the conversation stays on the Support page so
you can follow it and reply there too.

Pro requests are triaged ahead of the queue. Priority is about the order we get
to things, not a guaranteed response time.

<Note>
  Only organization owners and admins can open and read support requests. Members
  see the documentation and are pointed at an owner or admin who can open a
  request on their behalf.
</Note>

## Switching organizations

Support requests belong to an organization, not to you personally. If you belong
to more than one, switch to the right organization before opening a request — the
Support page only shows that organization's conversations.
